Downtown Tempe has always been a popular locale to enjoy a brew or two (or a dozen if you happen to be an ASU tailgater).  But, for the discriminating taste, someone who’s looking for something a little bit different than a Bud or Coors Light, the search was trickier.  Well, that search just got a little bit easier thanks to two new businesses-- “Dave’s Electric Brew Pub” and “Taste of Tops” beer and wine bar.  Neither are on Mill Avenue, but both are within walking distance of Mill Avenue.  Dave’s Electric Brew Pub is located on the corner of 5th Street & College Avenue and Taste of Tops is located next door to “Tops Liquor” on University and Farmer.  AZ Central has an article on both of the concepts.  We’ve posted the links below.  Enjoy!
