Mill Avenue District
Sneak Peek at Dos Gringos on Mill Avenue
The City of Tempe development review commission has suggested approval to the city council for the Dos Gringos at the corner of 7th Street and Mill Avenue. Once the site of “Long Wongs” and now a vacant dirt lot, the new bar/restaurant is certainly designed to be a temporary solution for the land owner. (At one time, the site was scheduled to be transformed into a large mixed-use development which included a hotel, office and residential condos. Obviously, that aggressive plan has been put on hold.)

While we are always a tad-bit unimpressed when yet another bar opens on Mill Avenue, we do like the urban park (also dog park) slated to be built directly to the South of the new Dos Gringos.
So, what do all you Downtown Tempe dwellers think? Is this a good or bad addition to Mill Avenue? Feel free to add your comments below!
