What is the “Discovery Triangle”?

We hadn’t heard of this new moniker until just this past week, but the Discovery Triangle is the 16,000 acre area of land stretching between Downtown Phoenix, Downtown Tempe, and the Scottsdale border line.  According to it’s supporters, the goal is to leverage the area’s assets in order to propel its redevelopment.
