Brought to you by Julian Wright of La Bocca Pizzeria & Wine Bar fame, the Tempe restauranteur has set his sights on the vacant restaurant space at the corner of 6th Street & Mill Avenue. Wright, who consistently preaches the virtues of Downtown Tempe (a man after our own heart) is placing his money where his mouth is and opening up a new restaurant concept: The Canteen Modern Tequila Bar.  While the entrepreneur redesigns the old Regions Bistro space into a modern Mexican watering hole, we’ll keep you informed of the progress until the planned opening this Fall.  We can’t wait to see how Julian creates the new concept in this prime Tempe space.
