Welcome to 2014 Downtown Tempe!

There are encouraging economic signs to be found all over the Tempe landscape.  If you didn’t already read it, check out our previous article on the flood of good news for the area HERE.

Starting the new year off on the right foot is the Hanover company, who just broke ground on their new apartment development located directly to the North of the two high rise towers known as W6 (short for West 6th). The towers can be seen in the background of the development rendering pictured above.  According to various news reports, the development will include approximately 341 apartments in a six story building.  The luxury building will break down as 260 one bedroom units and 81 two bedroom units.  From the looks of it, it appears as though the Hanover company is very familiar with “urban” development style.  We anticipate retail and or restaurants to be housed in the first floor street level spaces.  See their website and portfolio HERE.  In addition, one can imagine that the project will be built in such a way as to allow for possible conversion to a for sale condominium when the economy allows.
