The Arizona Republic reported the median home prices for most of the Valley today.  Of great interest to Urban Realty, was how would downtown Tempe hold up in the downturn in the real estate market? According to the state newspaper, none of the zip codes in Tempe fell by double digits.  As a matter of fact, the median zip code in downtown Tempe, which is the 85281 zip code, actually climbed by almost 11 percent!

This is fantastic news for downtown Tempe residents and only helps solidify what most have assumed during this change in the market, that Tempe will continue to be a great value for long term real estate investors and for those looking to make downtown Tempe their home.
