Approximately, two weeks ago, we had heard from a very reputable source that we shouldn’t believe that the Centerpoint Condominiums sale to Zaremba Group was a done deal.  We argued with this source, noting all the items presented to the public regarding the purchase a few months back.  (See our previous article here)

Well, it turns out, the source was right.  The saga continues!  Apparently, the transaction has hit a snag that could derail the sale to Zaremba Group for good.  This is really unfortunate news for Downtown Tempe.  While no one seemed to be all that thrilled about the idea of college student rentals (ok, some of you were) it was nice to think about the possible vibrancy emanating from the two towers once completed.  (See the New Times Article Here)
